Las Vegas: Five-story restaurant, club to open in MGM
Las Vegas’ latest fusion of dining and night life will be launched Thursday with the opening of the Hakkasan nightclub inside the MGM Grand. The signature restaurant is to open May 3.
The upscale Cantonese restaurant will be the 10th from the global group, but the multi-story nightclub will be a first for Hakkasan.
Various night-life venues featuring eclectic entertainers and innovative mixologists will occupy the upper three floors of the five-story mega-venue. The Garden Bar, set in an amphitheater-style space, will showcase a two-story water feature and lush foliage.
Reservations for the nightclub are now being accepted online or by calling (702) 891-3838. The club will be open at 10 p.m. Thursday through Sunday.
Dining reservations are bookable on the same website or by calling (702) 891-7888. The two-story restaurant, with a central kitchen as its focus, will open at 5 p.m. daily.
Hakkasan sits directly on Las Vegas Boulevard and Tropicana Avenue, right behind the giant, gold MGM lion. The barricades that caused traffic disruption during construction have been removed.
