The a.m. TV war continues, with ‘Good Morning America’ back on top over ‘Today.’

For the week of April 23, ABC’s ‘GMA’ averaged 5.3 million total viewers, compared with 5.1 million for its NBC rival, according to figures released Thursday by Nielsen. That marks the second time in three weeks that ‘GMA’ -- which has lagged behind ‘Today’ for years -- has won the ratings crown.

Happily for ‘GMA,’ the week happened to coincide with co-host Robin Roberts’ 10th anniversary on the show.

But NBC isn’t giving up yet. The network delivered its own news release Thursday pointing out that it continued to dominate among viewers aged 25 to 54 -- the top demographic in the TV news business.

What do you think of the morning ratings battle? Have you switched viewing habits lately?
