Rapper B-Real of Cypress Hill fame has parted ways with his longtime home in Northridge, selling the colorful two-story for $1.3 million.

Built in 1989, the 4,818-square-foot house features vaulted and recessed ceilings, hardwood floors and a centerpiece fireplace in the family room. The common areas have been brightened up with the use of vibrant color. The kitchen has an island and French doors, which lead to the backyard.

Upstairs, the master suite has another fireplace and a balcony that overlooks the grounds. There are five bedrooms and five bathrooms in all.

A sports court, a fenced swimming pool and a trellis-topped patio are among exterior features. Lawns and mature trees fill out the roughly half-acre lot.

Craig White of Douglas Elliman was the listing agent. Eric Findling of Valley Home Sales represented the buyer.

B-Real, 47, is the lead rapper for Cypress Hill. The Latino American group has had hits such as “Insane in the Brain,” “Dr. Greenthumb” and “Rap Superstar.”

He bought the house in 2001 for $725,000, property records show.
