Camera phone selfies are so five minutes ago. It’s no longer enough just to take a picture of yourself. Now you can eat an image of your own face with the help of a selfie toaster.

A Vermont-based company called Burnt Impressions is making customizable toasters that burn an image into your toast. It’s the same company that created the Jesus toaster and the Rapture toaster with images of Jesus and bodies floating up toward the sky.

If you want a selfie toaster, you’ll need to send a high-resolution photo of your face to the company, which will then make your custom selfie toaster in about a week. But not all photos will work.

“We are good, but remember fine detail is darn near impossible to achieve with heat and toast,” Burnt Impressions says on its website. “If we squint and can’t see your face, we will cancel [the] order and refund your purchase.”

The toasters are sold for $75 on the website and come with a full-color water-peel decal of your photo on the front of the toaster. Seems like a small price to pay to see your face on a piece of toast every morning.

Burnt Impressions also sells glow-in-the-dark refrigerator magnets featuring real slices of Jesus toast cast in acrylic, custom picture frames and what it calls pre-bankruptcy Twinkies.

Now you can take a selfie eating a piece of selfie toast from the selfie toaster. Add in a selfie coffee mug and things can start to get complicated.
