Joe Flanigan lists Malibu getaway on 14 acres

Joe Flanigan of “Stargate Atlantis” fame and actress Katherine Kousi have listed their getaway in Malibu for sale at $5.995 million.

Set on 14 rolling acres with ocean views, the two-story home built in 1968 evokes a Spanish country house with wood ceilings, distressed plank floors and French doors. The 2,722 square feet of living space includes an open plan living, dining and family room, an updated kitchen with a breakfast area, a media room, four bedrooms and three bathrooms.

Two detached studios, a swimming pool with a spa and a patio with a fire pit are on the grounds.

Flanigan, 47, starred in the TV movie “Ferocious Planet” (2011) and will be in the big-screen comedy “The Bandit Hound,” due out in December. Among Kousi’s acting credits are “Silent Men” (2005) and “Encino Woman” (1996).

They bought the property in 2006 for $3.68 million, public records show.
