Selena Gomez sells Tarzana house she expanded, remodeled

Selena Gomez has sold her house in Tarzana for $3.45 million.

The Traditional-style home is entered through a blue stone patio with a fountain. Bay windows flank the red front door, which opens to a high-ceiling entry with a center hall. A coffered-ceiling dining room sits off one side of the hall and a living room with a fireplace off the other.

The two-story 6,630-square-foot house includes a great room, a card room, a media room, six bedrooms and nine bathrooms. The less than an acre of gated grounds contains a guesthouse and an artfully shaped swimming pool with a spa.

Gomez, 22, released “Stars Dance,” her first solo album, last year. She earlier recorded as part of Selena Gomez & the Scene. She was on the television shows “Wizards of Waverly Place” (2007-12) and “Barney & Friends” (2002-04).

More recently Gomez starred in the films “Getaway” (2013) and this year’s “Rudderless” and “Behaving Badly.”

She bought the property in 2011 for $2.175 million, public records show, and remodeled and expanded the house by about 2,000 square feet. Gomez purchased another home this year in Calabasas.

Craig Knizek of the Agency was the listing agent. He and Kofi Nartey, also with the Agency, represented the buyer.
