Share

Petit Trois, the newly opened French cafe next to Trois Mec by Ludo Lefebvre, Vinny Dotolo and Jon Shook, is expanding its hours and lunch menu.

Beginning Tuesday, the restaurant will be open from noon to midnight Monday to Friday. Starting Sept. 22, the restaurant will also be open on the weekends. The full restaurant menu will be available until 11 p.m., and the last hour of business will be reserved for bar manager Danielle Motor’s cocktails.

The cozy 21-seat restaurant currently serves only two sandwiches for lunch, including a pan bagnat with tuna and jambon beurre (ham and butter). The full menu, soon to be available for lunch, will include an omelet with Boursin cheese, mussels marinieres, steak frites, steak tartare and confit chicken leg.

Beginning Tuesday you’ll also be able to order more than just the croque monsieur after 10 p.m. Since the restaurant opened, food service after 10 has been limited to this one sandiwch.

And, if you’re wondering how to make a reservation for one of the restaurant’s limited bar stools, don’t bother. It’s first-come, first-served.
