Netflix is looking to go big and epic for its next original series, “Marco Polo.”

The teaser trailer for the show’s first season premiered online Wednesday and revealed a historical series with all the sweeping landscape shots and tough medieval action of HBO’s “Game of Thrones.”

Just don’t expect any dragons or White Walkers.

The series, created by “Young Guns” writer John Fusco, follows the travels of the famous Italian merchant who went to China in the 13th century and described his experiences there in detail to Europeans, opening up further trade between the two areas of the world.

The series, produced by Netflix and the Weinstein Co., details Marco Polo’s time in the court of Kublai Khan in Dadu (present day Beijing).
