Clippers’ Chris Paul ready to play in Game 3, says hamstring is fine
Chris Paul went through the Clippers’ light shoot-around Thursday before Game 3 of the playoffs against the Golden State Warriors, saying his right hamstring was fine and that he would play.
The Clippers had two days off for Paul to rest since Game 2 Monday night.
“I didn’t do too much,” Paul said. “But I’ll be ready for tonight.”
The best-of-seven series is tied at 1-1. The Clippers lost the home-court advantage by losing Game 1 at Staples Center.
“We understand that in order for us to win this series we have to win at least one game here,” Paul said about playing in Oakland at Oracle Arena. “So, better sooner than later.”
