Kiss’ Paul Stanley launches fashion and lifestyle label Royals & Rebels

Kiss’ Paul Stanley is in a licensing deal with Epic Rights to build a new fashion and lifestyle brand. The new label, called Paul Stanley: Royals & Rebels, is to include men’s apparel and accessories, footwear, food, spirits, home decor, cookware and more, Epic announced in a news release.

Ciara is the face of Roberto Cavalli’s fall-winter advertising campaign, the label announced via news release Tuesday.

PacSun took to social media on Memorial Day to say it would stop selling a T-shirt with an upside-down American flag on the front. Some critics, including actor James Woods, had called for a boycott of the retailer. [Los Angeles Times]

Fashion designer Azzedine Alaïa is creating his first fragrance, Alaïa Paris, created with Beauté Prestige International and perfumer Marie Salamagne, who said her mission was to create “the smell of cold water falling on hot chalk.” New York Times fashion critic Vanessa Friedman translates that as “airy notes and pink pepper; freesia and peony; animal notes and musk.” [NYT]

Procter & Gamble, which bought hair care company Frederic Fakkai in 2008 for a reported $440 million, has sold the brand to Designer Parfums and LUXE Brands for about $50 million, WWD reports. [WWD]

London-based Marta Marques and Paulo Almeida of the Marques’ Almeida label won the LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers, which includes 300,000 euros and mentorship. [The Cut]
